By now, Reggie Wayne had showered the winner's confetti out of his hair and was primping himself in front of his locker stall. He grabbed his Colts jacket and his Colts hat -- like somebody wouldn't recognize him out in public -- and put them on as he faced the media.

"Reggie, whatever happened to the hard hat?" he was asked.

The hard hat, you'll remember, was Wayne's chapeau of choice the day the Colts arrived in Terre Haute back in July. On the front, it read "Wayne Construction" and on the side, there was "Super Bowl Under Construction."
